Unique Features and Benefits
- Xaar grayscale variable drop head technology provides a smoother transition
than CMYK printers are able to achieve, with sharpness previously only seen at
resolutions of 1440dpi or higher. Dot size varies from 7 pl (picoliter).
- Solid white for background printing and covering enables printing of bright,
vibrant colors even on transparent and darkly colored media.
- Print head carriage moves along both the X and Y axis over a fixed print
bed, providing accurate print alignment even for thick or heavy materials.
- The TeckStorm ink supply system is designed to offer a consistently reliable
and easy-to-control ink supply that is critical for UV curable printing.
- Ink agitators inside the primary tanks run automatically to prevent
sedimentation of the white ink.
- Low Ink Level sensors fitted to both the primary and secondary ink tanks
provide a high level of reliability by sounding an audible alarm to alert the
operator when a low ink level is detected. LEDs indicate which color is low,
enabling easy replenishment.
- De-gassing system removes micro bubbles from the bulk ink supply, thus
providing further reliability through reduced nozzle outages and increased drop
placement accuracy during printing.
- Highly efficient heating and circulation system provides fast warming of the
ink supply and print heads, thus providing a quick start and reliable operation.
- Extensively instrumented and easy-to-control ink system makes printing easy
and reliable.
- The negative pressure system is clearly displayed and easily adjustable,
ensuring stable vacuum pressure to the ink supply.
- Newly-designed valve system simplifies printer maintenance.
- Unique vibrating system keeps the white ink moving and prevents settling and
separation.
- Shutters on the UV lamp curing system provide accurate curing for optimal
ink adhesion to the substrate while reducing exposure of the media by up to 50%.
This protects the material from distortion and helps to protect the print heads
from UV lamp reflection.
- 8 individual vacuum pumps under the table can be turned on or off to suit
different sizes of material. Strong suction helps to prevent flexible materials
from puckering or lifting during printing.
- Carriage height can be adjusted using the TeckPrint software by simply
specifying the material to be printed.
- Sub-surface registration pins assist with easy edge-to-edge printing.
- High-quality servo motors coupled with dual lead screws and a
high-resolution raster ensure consistent bi-directional printing for increased
productivity. The head carriage is supported by twin rails to ensure accurate
alignment and movement with a minimum of vibration, thus maximizing print
quality.
