Sales Engineer
Sell and consult on advanced commercial digital printing equipment. Work under the supervision and guidance of company's Vice-President of Sales & Marketing to promote the sale of company's digital printing equipment. Use technical skills to make technical presentations that demonstrate the company's equipment. Confer with customers to assess equipment needs and system requirements. Review customers’ plans and apply theories and principals of science, mathematics, and engineering to develop technical solutions to address specific customer requirements and processes. Write preliminary proposals and cost estimates. Review preliminary proposal and cost estimate with company's Vice President of Sales & Marketing to ensure that the proposal is accurate and makes sound technical and business sense. Receive instructions and guidance from Vice President of Sales & Marketing and make revisions to the proposal in accordance with such instructions and guidance. Obtain final approval of proposal and cost estimate from Vice President of Sales & Marketing prior to presentation to the customer. Present the final proposal to the customer with recommendations for digital printing equipment and documentation of how changes will lower costs, increase production, or solve production problems. Secure and renew orders and arrange for delivery. Help customer solve any problems that arise after delivery of equipment. Provide technical and non-technical support and services to the customer on the use, operation and maintenance of equipment. Bachelors Degree in Engineering required. Job in Industry, California.
