NuSign Supply Demos Hewlett-Packard Latex & UV Printers
May 6, 2009 - NuSign Supply has two new printers available for demonstration in their Los Angeles showroom: the HP Designjet L65500 latex printer and the HP Scitex FB950 hybrid UV printer. The L65500 is 104-inch roll-to-roll printer that uses latex inks, which are odorless and reduce the impact of printing on the environment. The 6-color printer has resolutions up to 1200 dpi, requires no special ventilation and prints on most solvent-compatible media. The FB950 is a 98-inch wide flatbed and roll-to-roll hybrid printer that uses UV curable inks and offers the ability to print on both rigid and flexible substrates. With 6 colors of ink, 12 print heads, and up to 1200 dpi, the FB950 produces great image detail and smooth color transitions. Both the HP Designjet L65500 and the HP Scitex FB950 are ideal for the production of indoor and outdoor applications, such as banners, signage, POP displays, & tradeshow graphics. NuSign Supply Distributes NU-VTEC Hybrid UV Printers
August 6, 2008 - NuSign Supply recently announced that it is carrying the NU-VTEC roll-to-roll and flatbed hybrid UV curable printer. The 7-color (CMYKLcLm + white) NU-VTec features a bulk ink system and prints edge-to-edge at resolutions up to 720 dpi. Available in 63-inch and 98-inch models, the machine uses Xaar printheads to print uni- or bi-directional and features automatic printhead height adjustment for flexible and rigid materials up to 0.59 inches (15 mm) thick. The NU-VTEC converts easily from roll-fed to sheet-fed.
